ISA INTERCHILE’s guanaco protection program seeks to raise awareness about the importance of conserving local biodiversity and enable the community to learn about this emblematic specie of our country, which plays an important ecological role in the Atacama and Coquimbo regions, from where the book “EL GUANACO, la vida en el desierto” (THE GUANACO, life in the desert), which we sent to educational establishments in the area, was born.
